Three reasons September beats November
Lowest rate of the year
Pre-Oct 31 residential contracts start at $650. After that the rate moves to $750–$899. Commercial pricing follows the same curve — booking early is simply cheaper.
Route priority
September signups are dispatched first within a route cluster. Late bookers become the 11th property in a 10-property cluster — first to slip in a heavy storm.
Insurance filed in time
Commercial contracts need a Certificate of Insurance naming you as additional insured. That filing takes 7–14 days — walking in Nov 10 expecting coverage Nov 15 doesn’t work.

Seasonal contract FAQ
When should I reserve a seasonal snow removal contract in Kitchener-Waterloo?
Reserve in September for the lowest rate. We lock early-bird pricing until October 31; after that, residential rates move from $650 to $750–$899. Route capacity fills by mid-October, and new commercial contracts are typically declined after November 15 because routes are locked and insurance riders are already filed.
How much does a seasonal snow contract cost for 2026–27?
Residential seasonal contracts start at $650 when booked before October 31, rising to $750–$899 afterward depending on driveway size. Commercial parking-lot contracts start at $2,500 per season. On-demand per-visit service is $80 per visit. Prices lock when the contract is signed — there are no storm-frequency surcharges.
What’s included in a D&D seasonal contract?
Automatic dispatch at the 5 cm residential / 3 cm commercial trigger, driveway and lot clearing completed before 7 AM for overnight systems, walkway salting at the 2 cm trigger, unlimited events for the season at a flat rate, and 24/7 dispatch from November through April. Commercial contracts also include an additional-insured certificate and a digital snow & ice log.
What if it’s a low-snow winter — do I still pay the full seasonal rate?
Yes. A seasonal contract is a flat-rate agreement that trades storm-by-storm risk for a fixed, predictable price. In heavy winters you save significantly versus per-visit billing; in light winters you pay for guaranteed priority and capacity. If you’d rather pay only when it snows, choose per-visit service at $80 per visit instead.
Do you provide proof of insurance for commercial contracts?
Yes. We carry $2 million in Commercial General Liability and are WSIB compliant. Commercial contracts include a Certificate of Insurance naming the property owner or manager as additional insured — a filing that takes 7–14 days, which is why booking before mid-November matters. Every commercial site also receives a contemporaneous digital snow & ice log for slip-and-fall defence.
Which areas do you serve?
Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Elmira, Breslau, Woolwich, St. Jacobs, Wellesley, Ayr, Baden, New Hamburg, Fergus, Elora, Milton, Brantford, Woodstock, Paris, Stratford and surrounding Waterloo Region communities. Call (519) 502-3905 to confirm availability on your route.
Can I still get on a route if I call in November or December?
Sometimes for residential, rarely for commercial. Route capacity is largely locked by mid-October and commercial routes close around November 15. If space remains we’ll place you at the current (non-early-bird) rate. If routes are full, our 24/7 per-visit dispatch line stays open all winter.
