Residential snow removal
"As a senior living alone, shovelling was becoming a real safety risk. D&D's residential service has been a lifesaver — literally. My driveway and front walk are always clear before I even get up in the morning."

Plan winter service for the driveway, entrances and walkways you want addressed, with access and service terms kept clear.
Residential snow clearing works best when the driveway and the pedestrian route are considered together. A cleared parking space is less useful if the steps or path to the entrance remain outside the arrangement.
Narrow entrances, garages and vehicles left outside affect access for clearing. The available snow-storage space also changes how the driveway can be maintained through the season.
These areas can require different work from plowing the driveway. Identifying them separately makes the service more closely match the household's daily route.
New precipitation and refreezing can change conditions after a visit. The quote should explain the agreed clearing areas, treatment and attendance terms without assuming every winter task is included in driveway service.

Residential snow removal
"As a senior living alone, shovelling was becoming a real safety risk. D&D's residential service has been a lifesaver — literally. My driveway and front walk are always clear before I even get up in the morning."
Residential snow removal
"With two young kids and both of us working, there's no time to shovel after a big storm. D&D handles it every time — we wake up, driveway's done, kids get to school safely. It's one less thing to worry about all winter."
Residential snow removal
"I fractured my wrist last winter and couldn't shovel at all. D&D stepped in on short notice and kept my property clear for the rest of the season. Incredibly reliable and they always did the walkway too without being asked."
Confirm clearing areas, treatment and how later snow or refreezing is handled before relying on the service through the season.
Communicate changes in vehicles, obstructions or household needs through the accepted contact arrangement.
Photograph the driveway and route to the entrance, noting narrow sections and changes of level.
Explain where cars remain and who can move them when required by the agreed arrangement.
Note curbs, garden edges, equipment and places where piled snow would obstruct access.
Separate the driveway, entrances and pedestrian routes.
Identify vehicles, gates and snow-placement questions.
Clarify clearing, salting, repeat attendance and exclusions.
Confirm the arrangement and communicate access or layout changes.
Only if they are included in the accepted scope. List the steps and connecting path separately so a cleared parking space is linked to the entrance the household actually uses.
Ask how that later accumulation is handled in the proposed arrangement. It may occur after an initial clearing, so return attendance and any additional task need to be defined rather than assumed.
Explain the normal parking arrangement before agreeing the service. Confirm accessible areas, movement responsibilities and how any blocked section is handled; clearing around a vehicle is different from clearing the whole driveway.
Provide the household's access needs and review the actual attendance terms. Do not rely on an unconfirmed departure-time promise; changing storms, route arrangements and access conditions need to be addressed in the agreement.
Confirm treatment surfaces and return-visit responsibilities separately from snow removal. Conditions can change after a visit, so the written arrangement should explain who handles later ice concerns and how to report them.
Review the available space alongside paths, parking, sightlines and neighbouring access. If storage becomes constrained, any relocation or removal work needs its own agreed scope rather than an assumption that piles can grow anywhere.
